Terms and Conditions

  • CLAIMSUPPORT is the name given to a legal fee protection scheme set out in more detail in the accompanying Coverage Document and Proposal Form. These are the Terms and Conditions referred to in the Proposal Form.
  • The CLAIMSUPPORT product is managed and administered by C Support Limited (The Managers), a wholly owned subsidiary of C Solutions Limited (www.csolutionslimited.com).
  • C Support Limited may delegate or assign the administration of the cover provided hereunder to C Solutions Limited or its associate companies or retained consultants or other experts of their choosing.
  • The client is the individual or company on whose behalf the Proposal Form has been completed.
  • The client agrees to deal directly with any individual or company delegated by C Support Limited to perform functions arising under the CLAIMSUPPORT product when requested by
    C Support Limited to do so.
  • CLAIMSUPPORT cover will be withdrawn for any breach by the client of these Terms and Conditions. There will be no return of the annual fee or any part thereof.
  • We reserve the right to pay from the annual fee an introductory fee or commission to third parties.
  • There will be no return of fee or part thereof in the event that no or limited use of the CLAIMSUPPORT product has been made. The Managers of the CLAIMSUPPORT product will take into account on any renewal offered the amount of usage made by the client of the CLAIMSUPPORT product.
  • The CLAIMSUPPORT product is valid for 12 months from the commencement of cover. The Managers reserve the right to decline to offer or renegotiate renewal terms on expiry.
  • Unless otherwise agreed, the CLAIMSUPPORT product is ship specific. Any change in name, management or ownership of the ship covered should be notified to the Managers without delay. Special terms may be offered for Clients wishing to cover more than one ship or for charterers or traders who may be involved with more than one ship during the period of coverage under the CLAIMSUPPORT product.
  • The agreed annual fee (currently USD5000) should be paid in full to our bank account before cover can commence. Details of our bankers will be provided with our acceptance of the Proposal Form.
  • We shall provide advice on the basis of the information supplied by you and cannot be held responsible for advice given on the basis of incorrect, incomplete or inaccurate information

    For completeness, please be aware that we shall not be responsible for:
    1. providing or reviewing financial or other specialist advice outside the scope of our expertise;
    2. commercial or strategic decisions taken by the client;
    3. checking (or otherwise being responsible for) the services provided by another advisor;
    4. matters subject to a law other than English law.
  • Initial notifications in connection with any matter which might come within the CLAIMSUPPORT product should be made promptly by email to: claimsupport@csupportlimited.com or by telephone to:

  • All notifications by telephone should be confirmed/followed up by email to the above address.
  • Force Majeure, limitation of liability, destruction of documents and complaints procedure to be as per the Terms and Conditions of C Solutions Limited (www.csolutionslimited.com)
